We are seeking a Medical Biller/Revenue Cycle Specialist responsible for ensuring all revenue is processed and paid accurately and on time. This role requires adaptability, organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to provide an exceptional experience for our patients and team.
Daily insurance claim scrubbing and submission for multiple providers and locations
Actively work on insurance rejections, denials, and no-pays; report trends to the manager
Post insurance and patient payments promptly
Manage accounts receivables to ensure timely payments from insurance and/or patients
Efficiently use multiple systems and insurance payer websites/portals
Send accurate patient statements, letters, and calls; refer to outside collection agencies as needed
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their statements or collections
Maintain detailed knowledge of revenue cycle functions and metrics
Collaborate closely with all departments and team members to achieve goals
Assist with special projects and other assignments as delegated by management
Requirements:
Medical Billing Experience
Ability to work professionally, positively, and pleasantly with other team members
Excellent communication skills
Ability to react calmly and effectively in stressful situations
Progressive medical billing experience
ICD-10: 4+ Years
Detailed knowledge of revenue cycle functions and metrics
Experience in larger practices with multiple locations and specialties
High School diploma or equivalent
Monday-Friday, no nights, no weekends, Paid holidays, Full Health& Dental Benefits, PTO/Vacation,401K and more
