Mother Baby Registered Nurses provides: Mother and baby couplet care Post partum recovery care to post vaginal and cesarean births Immediate delivery room newborn care Provide breastfeeding education and lactation support Provides emotional support and resources for care at home Screens, and educates for signs of postpartum depression and other maternal urgent warning signs. Responsibilities Essential Functions Assesses patient's needs and develops/revises an individualized plan of care based on patient needs and responses.
