Join our dynamic team as a Surgical Technician Extraordinaire We're seeking an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing top-notch patient care. As a key member of our surgical team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth consultations and surgeries while enhancing patient satisfaction and office efficiency.

Responsibilities:

40% Surgeon Sidekick: Assist our esteemed surgeons during consultations and surgeries, from seating patients to taking vitals. Stay sharp with anesthesia monitoring and ensure all necessary consent forms and treatment plans are completed and documented with precision.

40% Patient Care Pro: Provide stellar pre-operative and post-operative care, including giving instructions and obtaining medical clearances. Keep our lab in shipshape and uphold OSHA and regulatory guidelines like a pro. Plus, ensure radiation protection measures are on point and radiographic images are picture-perfect.

15% Equipment Expert: Take charge of preparing and maintaining clinical equipment and instruments. Foster positive relationships with colleagues and handle conflicts with finesse. Your keen problem-solving skills and commitment to confidentiality will shine as you maintain patient, doctor, and employee information security.

5% Jack/Jill of All Trades: Embrace special projects and other ad hoc responsibilities with enthusiasm. Your versatility is valued here

Qualifications and Skills:

Mastery of all job functions with excellent communication and patient relations skills.

Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and doctors, both one-on-one and in small group settings.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software.

Knowledge of medical and dental terminology, coupled with typing skills.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

1+ years' experience in an Oral Surgery Office.

Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Certifications and Safety Requirements:

Basic CPR Certification required.

Oral and Maxillofacial Assisting/Dental Assistant Certification preferred.

Hepatitis B Vaccination & Titer.

TB Vaccination & Titer.

Work Environment:

Get ready for some action You'll be on your feet, assisting patients and colleagues, and occasionally climbing or balancing to gather supplies.

A blend of teamwork and multitasking awaits you in our air-controlled environment.

Be prepared for occasional lifting and carrying of supplies up to 25 pounds, and ensure your vision is clear for close work.
