We are a growing physician owned specialty practice with multiple central Indiana locations. We are committed to providing excellent care for our patients and in turn understand the importance of providing the same to our employees. Team work is emphasized as well as each employee’s responsibility for individual work load.

*What you will be doing*

We are seeking an experienced registered nurse to work and assist our new spine surgeon.
* Assists physician with the patient visits.
* Answers patient care questions by phone and in person. Phones pharmacies to authorize prescriptions and returns patients phone calls with the physician’s recommendations for their care. Records and tracks all referrals.
* Document all interventions, patient/family responses, medication dispensed or prescribed by physician in the electronic medical record.
* Prepare and assist in medical procedures performed in office.
* Promote wellness by providing patient education materials, communicating physicians’ advice and instructions.
* Coordinate patient care by triaging patient phone calls regarding urgency of appointments, scheduling procedures with support staff.

* Experience with spine/ortho highly desirable
