Kitchen Helper

*Position*: Kitchen Helper

*Location:* Henderson, NC

*Pay:* $17/hour

*Experience: *2 years of previous kitchen experience desired.

*Education:* High school diploma or GED preferred.

*Type: *Full-time; Contract

*Schedule: *Monday – Friday; 1st shift, 8 am to 5 pm *or *2nd shift, 3:30 pm to 12:30 am

*Greene Resources *is seeking a *Kitchen Helper* to join a growing and dynamic team

*Job Description:*
* Prepare all products according to cook sheets and specifications.
* Address any issues or needs during the cooking and prep processes.
* Read and execute core recipes accurately.
* Maintain all cook logs, reports, and required documents.
* Utilize slow business periods for cleaning or prepping food.
* Contribute to the creative process in the kitchen.
* Assist with ordering products, organizing storage areas, and assigning cleaning projects.
* Ensure all products comply with federal and state regulations.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food products, sanitation standards, policies, and procedures.

*Position Requirements: *
* Basic cooking skills, including measuring, weighing, and sampling products.
* High standards for food quality and personal performance.
* Ability to work on feet for 8 hours or more per day.
* Excellent mathematical, reading, and writing skills.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Ability to maintain a positive attitude throughout the shift.
