Are you interested in working alongside an individual to assist and locate resources for basic needs? If this fills your purpose, we look forward to hearing from you The role of Peer Support is to work with individuals dealing with behavioral health concerns by supporting and connecting them to the necessary services that will help stabilize their day-to-day life. This role would involve meeting with individuals in the home, office, and community, wherever they are at and able.

Peer Support (QMHS) Requirements

  • CDCA & Certified Peer Support preferred.
  • Knowledge of the disease of chemical dependency and the 12 Step Programs.
  • Excellent facility in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Access, Excel, Outlook.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain high level of confidentiality; must sign confidentiality agreement.
  • Good professional communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Maturity and ability to role model healthy interpersonal communication with clients and staff.
  • Organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and strong ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work without supervision and demonstrate considerable initiative.
  • Knowledge of CPR.
