Wood Violet Recovery - an affiliate of Sunshine Behavioral Health - is a residential substance use treatment program. We're located in Dodgeville, Wisconsin - approximately 45 minutes from Madison.

We're looking for a Therapist to assess and monitor client behavior while in treatment for chemical and/or alcohol use and dependency.
You will provide crisis management, counseling, group therapies, and education for clients and family/significant others in therapeutic milieu setting.
You will document client behavior, group participation and counseling.
You will care for clients and coordinate treatment and discharge planning.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide assessment and participate in treatment planning with clients and their families/significant others.
Interview clients to obtain information concerning social history, treatment, and other pertinent information.
Observe clients to detect indications of abnormal physical or mental behavior.
Change method and degree of therapy when indicated by client reactions/needs.
Discuss progress toward goals with clients.
Plan and administer therapeutic treatment, behavior modification, and stress management therapy.
Complete and maintain individual and group counseling notes and documentation.
Develop and implement appropriate discharge planning with client and family.
Initiate, facilitate and promote on-site activities, therapeutic support and educational groups, outings, and community meetings.
Provide education for clients and significant others.
Respond to emergencies and initiate action as required.
Record significant events involving client's activities.
Respond to client complaints.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings.
Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
To be a Therapist at Wood Violet Recovery, you should have:
Extensive knowledge of HIPAA.
Experience and education in chemical and alcohol dependency and abuse.
Extensive experience with crisis management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must meet one of the following licensure requirements:
Have or working towards AMFT (Associate Marriage and Family Therapist) licensure
Have or working towards ASW (Associate Clinical Social Worker) licensure
Have or working towards MSW (Masters in Social Work) licensure
Have or working towards APC (Associate Professional Counselor) licensure
Have LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) licensure
Have LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) licensure
Have LMSW (Licensed Masters in Social Work) licensure
Have LPC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) licensure
Have Licensed Psychologist licensure
One (1) year of experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders in a clinical setting, including knowledge of integrated treatment approaches and best practices.
Wisconsin State Driver's License and ability to operate Program van.
Must successfully pass a caregiver background check and DMV check at hire and annually thereafter in accordance with state and local DHS requirements.
Must successfully pass a drug screen and annually thereafter per WVR policy.
Current CPR/BLS and First Aid Certification.
