Job Summary and QualificationsThe Monitor Technician interprets cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintains telemetry supplies and maintains patient records according to hospital policy.
- You will communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, ancillary department and other customers.
- Maintain a neat and organized work place.
- Acquire and maintain correct knowledge in hospital/unit information.
- You will operate computer systems as necessary.
What qualifications you will need:
· Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias is required
· Previous experience as CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician preferred
· Completion of basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and successful completion of Monitor Tech examination
