Shop Inspector II

Responsibilities:
• Prints identification tags for furniture.
• Performs inspection on the Returns Dock (Driver Claims).
• Assists with the furniture inspections on the shop Returns Dock.
• Pushes furniture to designated areas. • Researches Customer Orders.
• Maintains communication with Delivery Company, Returns Dock, and South Shop Area.
• Assists with the scanning of furniture (Telxon Gun).
• Supports other areas within the Department.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in Inspection and/or Quality Control is preferred
• 0 to 2 years of experience in distribution center or manufacturing facility.
• Capacity to learn and work in a team-oriented, fast paced environment.
• Ability to use an electronic device (Tablet).
• Excellent Communication/comprehension skills-both verbal and written
• Good organizational skills and detailed-oriented.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with coworkers.
• Ability to follow the company policies and procedures.
• Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.
