As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgment. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence at the location. Document security-related incidents and complete required reports according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Collaborate with healthcare staff and public to address concerns and answer inquiries related to security-related matters. Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times during patrols.Minimum Requirements: An Armed Guard Card or Armed Guard License is required. At least six months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
