Job Title: Entry Level Automation Maintenance Technician

Location: SLC

Pay Range: $25-28

What’s the Job?

  1. Support preventive maintenance and daily repair of automation equipment and auxiliary equipment.
  2. Perform basic and routine machine maintenance functions, such as cleaning and checking production machinery.
  3. Troubleshoot pneumatic, mechanical, and electronic systems on automation machines and support equipment.
  4. Work with machine vendors to size and quote correct replacement parts for machinery.
  5. Maintain spare parts inventory and proper records regarding machine maintenance using the CMMS system.

What’s Needed?

  1. General mechanical skills working with industrial machinery.
  2. Basic understanding of electrical circuits.
  3. Basic understanding of pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical/electronic schematics.
  4. Personal computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  5. Must be able to lift 50lbs, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and work standing, sitting, or lying down.
