Job Summary:
The Journeyman Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the Employee Shuttle Busses.

Job Duties:
· Performs preventative and routine maintenance such as oil changes, replacing/adding coolants and fluids, brake and tire changes, etc. on vehicles and shuttle busses.
· Performs minor/major repair of vehicles and shuttle buses such as starter motors, alternators, batteries, radiators, hydraulic drive components, diesel/gas engines, etc.
· Transports vehicles to be repaired by driving, towing, or pushing vehicle into service bay.
· Inspect parts and/or motor vehicles to identify defective or broken parts, proper fluid levels, general wear and safety items.
· Troubleshoot problems with vehicles and buses. Receives work orders and obtains the necessary tools required for the repair. Completes work orders and provides status on any "open" work orders.
