Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse for our facility to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

· You will perform therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by the physician.

· You will participate in patient education, rehabilitation, and provide interpretation of treatment to the patient and the patient’s family.

· You will coordinate unit activities and assure accountability of all assigned tasks.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

· Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with an Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

· Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).

· 1 year minimum Experience in psychiatric nursing is preferred.

· Current BLS from the American Heart Association is required.

· Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) is required within 60 days of hire.
