Production Planner/Purchaser

Our client, a manufacturer of electrical components is seeking a Production Planner/Purchaser to join their team. As a Production Planner/Purchaser, you will be part of the management team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is passionate about their work. You will also be proactive always striving for savings and efficiencies which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Production Planner/Purchaser Location: Wichita, KS Pay Range: $75k - $95K What’s the Job? Plan and release production work orders based on sales demand, forecasts and inventory levels. Issue purchase orders to suppliers for raw materials, components, and MRO items. Coordinate logistics to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor and maintain integrity of inventory levels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives, providing planning and purchasing insights to enhance process efficiency. What’s Needed? 3+ years of experience in production planning, purchasing or supply chain management. Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel. Excellent communication and vendor relationship management skills. Detail-orientated and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
