Our client, the oil and gas industry, is seeking a network contractor (SME) to join their team.

Job Description: Wireless Network Contractor (SME)
Location: Spring, TX (On-site)
Pay : $50-$55/hr on W2
  Position Overview: The SITS Branch organization is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Network Contractor - SME to join our team at the ExxonMobil campus in Spring, TX. This role requires advanced wireless networking expertise and experience within a large enterprise environment. The successful candidate will be part of the Branch Access Tech Team, working on various tasks and projects while troubleshooting wireless issues on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform and manage wireless site surveys.
  • Plan and design WiFi radios for optimal performance.
  • Engineer Cisco wireless solutions for large buildings, considering various environmental factors.
  • Utilize advanced wireless troubleshooting skills and tools to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects and resolve wireless network problems.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco’s enterprise wireless infrastructure (CCNP Wireless certification - CCIA , CCIE is a plus).
  • Proficiency in wireless site surveys.
  • Expertise in WiFi radio planning.
  • Capability to design and engineer Cisco wireless solutions for complex environments.
  • Competence with various wireless troubleshooting tools and methodologies.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a globally diverse team.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to learn and improve.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
