Job Summary and Qualifications

Serves in the capacity of the Cardiovascular Technician; assisting in patient care through procedures. Directly involved in assisting with Cath Lab, EP, and Vascular procedures and the development of protocols. Cross trains cath lab staff to other procedural areas to achieve a level of comfort in working with the new procedures and meet developed competencies that are developed.

What qualifications you will need:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required 
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required OR graduate of a degree program in a health science (includes, but not limited to ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing or paramedic) with a current certification or registration required

Other services that we provide include women’s health and wound therapy. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission and certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our hospital has an Accredited Chest Pain Center by ACC (American College of Cardiology) and is designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and Bariatric Surgery.
