Job Description:

As a Security Officer (Mid) at our Kihei location, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of buildings, grounds, and assets across industrial plants, commercial establishments, and other work sites. Your role will involve periodic patrols, monitoring of premises, and emergency response. You will rely on your experience and judgment to maintain security protocols and handle various situations that may arise on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Periodically patrol buildings and grounds to maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor and protect premises including industrial plants, commercial establishments, docks, and work sites.
  • Conduct guardhouse (desk) postings, foot patrols, and mobile patrols.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including providing CPR when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and standard operating procedures.
  • Report and document any security incidents, breaches, or unusual activities.
  • Work under general supervision and follow guidelines set by management.
  • Provide a visible security presence to deter potential security threats.
  • Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of experience in the security field or a related area.
  • Familiarity with standard security concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Strong observational and communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable performing a variety of tasks including foot and mobile patrols.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred.
  • No weapons will be carried by security officers in this role.

Additional Information:
This is a long-term contract position with Experis. As a W2 Experis employee, you will receive benefits. The role is office-based with a start time of 7:00 AM.
