Overview:

GovCIO is currently hiring for an Electronics Engineer. This position will be located in  and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities:

Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. May analyze systems and processes, including heat transfer, fluid dynamic and thermodynamic principles for energy efficiency improvements.

  • Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods and testing properties.
  • Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
  • Operate computer-assisted engineering software, prepare and study technical drawings and perform detailed calculations to figure out standards and specifications necessary to complete a project.
  • May prepare product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)

Clearance required: Secret

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of practical experience, to include: Electronics Repair, Maintenance, Installation and Checkout.  Two (2) years of experience, to include: supervision, and shop practices.  Three (3) years of practical experience, to include: electronics repair and installation

    Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • four (4) year electronics apprentice program.

Posted Pay Range

 

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Posted Salary Range: USD $110,000.00 - USD $130.00 /Yr.
