What we need

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager with a background in Logistics Technology who will be responsible for the planning and successful delivery of the IT infrastructure and software team’s roadmaps, which consists of an IT Infrastructure build out and software releases during the program. In the role you will own the overall program deliverables for IT infrastructure and software development teams and represents the team at company level planning and status reporting meetings.

GreenBox is pioneering warehousing-as-a-service, offering outsourced warehousing operations and specializing in automated warehousing solutions. Our focus is on the efficient movement of goods in cases and pallets across all sectors, such as wholesale, retail, and general merchandising.     

*GreenBox is an independently managed joint venture between Symbotic and Softbank.    

What you’ll do

  • Overseeing and managing multiple major project workstreams  

  • Planning, tracking and communicating project status to internal and external stakeholders  

  • Act as the SCRUM Master of multiple Agile Product teams. Facilitating grooming, stand-ups, communication and decision making with the team.  

  • Planning and tracking Beta Testing and User Acceptance Testing in partnership with Product Owners.   

  • Responsible for the ongoing development of the team within the agile framework and continuous improvement of IT Infrastructure and software development processes, quality and quantity of work delivered.  

  • Build a highly functioning team by leading the team in best practices for Project Management.  

  • Manage the department and team plans by establishing clear goals and hold staff accountable and participate in regular feedback dialog with staff members. Manage corrective action as appropriate.   

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.  

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the role of delivery manager or project manager.  

  • PMP certification or commensurate combination of work experience and other certifications  

  • Experience in managing large IT projects that include both software and hardware infrastructure workstreams  

  • Working knowledge of Supply Chain applications such as warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP, SAP, Oracle EBS, NetSuite), transportation management systems (TMS)  

  • Experience leading an agile scrum team at a fast-paced technology company.  

  • Ability to troubleshoot details while maintaining the “big picture” view  

  • Ability to understand complex technical issues and facilitate resolution. Ability to communicate well with internal and external technical audiences. Ability to triage issues based on priority, impact, risk, release timing.  

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.  

  • Ability to manage high pressure situations and build trust with stakeholders.  

  • Ability to input into product strategy in the context of Greenbox’s business strategy.   

  • Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous issues.   

  • Outstanding time management skills and attention to details.   

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.   

  • Self-motivated, “Find a way to get it done” attitude.  

Our Environment  

  • Up to 25% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.     

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
