  • Unload and sample rail cars, trucks and trailers into the used oil receiving tanks
  • Prepare the sample, submit for lab analysis, and enter data in the computer system for tracking and accounting
  • Accurately complete various shipping and receiving documents
  • Act as a spotter for track mobile to position for unloading
  • Perform daily inspections as required by environmental permits and MARSEC (USCG) requirements related to Homeland Security
  • Organize and maintain truck and rail unloading areas
  • Acts as a switchman for rail switches, tests, LOTO and prepare equipment for repairs
  • Other duties as required

What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen?

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months manual labor experience in a construction, industrial or plant preferred
  • Experience unloading and loading rail cars, trucks and trailers an asset
  • Great work ethic, attitude and good attendance
  • Must be able to communicate well with the team
  • Lift up to 50lbs, climb, work at heights, stand for long periods and work in all weather conditions
  • Valid Driver’s License required
