Material Handler

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Production department supporting the team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler 

1st Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm.

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay Range: $17 per hour

What's the Job?

• Receive, count, move and stage materials for productions jobs as noted on job tickets.
• Track material usage in hard copy and electronic database
• Works closely with all departments to ensure products are received in and delivered accurately to production jobs in a timely manner.
• Follows all standard operations procedures, work instructions.
• Maintain a clean work environment with light cleaning duties

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Pallet jack experience is required.
• Must be able to pass in-house forklift training.
• Must be efficient in basic computer skills (e-mail, word processing, database, etc.).
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good organizational skills and be reliable.
