Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Demonstrates a high level of technical and operational expertise in performing Endoscopy procedures.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of reprocessing endoscopes, accessories and automatic washers.
  • Establishes a physical environment conducive to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care.
  • Assumes responsibility/accountability for all coverage, weekly hours worked and assigned committee tasks.
  • Assumes responsibility for professional development through continuing education and inservices.
  • Anticipates and maintains adequate inventory of supplies and medications while controlling costs and eliminating waste.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in hospital information systems, to include Meditech and/or SSI systems.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION:

  • High school graduate or GED. Must have current, valid CPR certification. - Required

EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field. - Preferred

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider - Required
