The Role
Our Banking & Financial Services Consulting group is looking for a Manager Consulting to join our journey.
We’re looking for Senior Consultant who can deliver within Cognizant’s Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence, which are: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant (which is a Manager level position) this means a client-facing engagement, managing escalations, and serving as a the owner of a workstream; maintaining expertise in your domain; meaningfully contributing to the sales process through a mix of RPI development, client presentations, financial modeling, pricing strategy, and flawless delivery; creating service offerings and/or client partner training materials; and contributing to People Care initiatives, recruiting, and mentoring. In addition to enabling consulting excellence through the Five Pillars of Consulting, the specific requirements for this position are below.

Responsibilities
To define requirements for Open Banking APIs, ensuring it aligns with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and Prioritize Requirements: Collaborate with client stakeholders, to identify and document detailed requirements for the API. Work with client product managers to prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and regulatory mandates.
- Create Product Backlog: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product backlog, outlining features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with Development Team: Work closely with development teams to ensure the API's design and implementation align with the product vision and requirements.
- Manage Stakeholder Expectations: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, keeping them informed about the API's progress, challenges, and decisions.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong understanding of Open Banking principles, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in product management.
- Proven ability to gather and prioritize requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of API requirements definition
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of banking domain and regulatory landscape.
- Familiarity with data privacy and protection regulations.
