Internship Overview:
As an intern on the Engineering team at ATS, you will have the opportunity to assist with testing and certification of fall protection systems. The internship is going to include a lot of direct hands-on experience to utilize your knowledge and gain great experience in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with leaders and other engineers/technicians to assist with testing and certification of rooftop fall protection systems.
- Common tasks performed will include, but not limited to: test rooftop fall protection with load cells, hydraulic rams, dial indicators and other tools, customer consultation and reporting
- Daily Local/Regional travel to customer sites in the surrounding areas
- Opportunity to learn and apply the testing procedure and reporting process

Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Must be a Full-Time Student, ideally in a Civil or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's program
- Strong interest in the Engineering/Building Certification industry
- Strong attention to detail and safety procedures
- Must be very comfortable with heights and working on tall buildings
