Job Description: Hardware Design Engineer 5
Location: Raleigh, NC or Mountain View, CA
Pay Range: $85/hr. - $89/hr.
Work Schedule: Onsite, 5 days a week

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Computer Hardware Engineer to provide FPGA debug support for firmware development activities in an ASIC prototyping project. This role will also involve some Verilog RTL development as required by the project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Synopsys HAPS and at least 10 years of debugging experience, along with significant lab work experience.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required:
  1. FPGA Programming with Verilog - Minimum 5 years of experience.
  2. Coding Experience - Minimum 10 years of experience.
  3. Embedded Microprocessor Systems - Minimum 3 years of experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide FPGA debug support to firmware developers.
  • Engage in Verilog RTL development as needed.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to design effort testing and support software developers in debugging efforts on the FPGA prototyping platform.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in FPGA design and debugging.
  • Strong background in embedded microprocessor systems.
  • Experience with Verilog, C, and assembly languages.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience.
