Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol Driver in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government corrections setting, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide clear communication and exceptional customer service while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and embraces innovation.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a correctional facility.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report irregularities, prohibited items, or unauthorized entry attempts according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with facility personnel and emergency responders as appropriate.
- Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incidents, observations, and shift reports, in accordance with site and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An Armed Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
