Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all clinical programs, ensuring quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • This role requires you to be on call
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of clinical and care coordinator team members.
  • Conduct consistent and ongoing audits of nursing programs, identifying areas of improvement, and developing and implementing corrective action plans.
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care and services provided to residents.
  • Oversee the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports, and records.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and the Interdisciplinary team.

Qualified Candidates Must Possess the Following:

  • Degree in nursing and current state license as a professional Registered Nurse per Iowa regulations.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Nurse and at least 1 year of nursing management experience, including hiring staff, coaching, discipline, and counseling.
  • Knowledge of  knowledge of Iowa regulations
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours as needed for resident care/services.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Energetic and professional with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented, team player, with a compassionate understanding of eldercare.
