Woodworker Helper

Our client in the woodworking & design industry is seeking a Production Helper to join their team. As a Woodworker Helper, you will be part of the team supporting skilled woodworkers.  

The ideal candidate will have basic woodworking experience and know how to use hand and power tools - sanders, routers, etc., which will align successfully in the organization.

 Job Title:  Woodworking Helper

Location:  Kingston, NY

Pay Range:  $17 - $18 per hour

What’s the Job?

• Shift is Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
• 2 - 3 week project, but additional work might be available based on performance and attendance.
• Assist other woodworkers and learn the production process.
• Use freestanding shop equipment, power tools and hand tools.

What’s Needed?

• Basic woodworking skills & sanding.  
• May help assemble components and build final products.
• Knowledge of basic hand & power tools.
• Inspect lumber for defects.
• Sorting, stacking and staging lumber.
• General clean up of the shop area.
