Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide part time (24 hours/week) inpatient nutrition care at Winchester Hospital, part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System. Winchester Hospital is a 229-bed acute care hospital providing compassionate healthcare services in the northwest suburban Boston area.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:

• provide exceptional nutrition care to patients in med/surg and/or critical care units;  
• be well versed in the Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification;
• work two weekends per month and rotating holidays providing hospital-wide coverage, or as per department needs;
• complete quality improvement/PI and special projects as assigned;
• mentor and train staff and dietetic interns;
• assist with food service management as needed; and
• efficiently and effectively organize clinical nutrition and patient services responsibilities.

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Credentials Requirement:

• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
