Mill Manufacturing Trainee

Job Title: Mill Manufacturing Trainee
Location: Escanaba, MI
Pay: $21.00 per Hour

What’s the Job?
- Assist in the operation of manufacturing machinery under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Learn to monitor production processes and maintain equipment to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Participate in quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Help with routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Other duties as assigned.

What’s Needed?
- Temporary position up to 4 months, potential for perm but not guaranteed.
- Mill is in operation 24/7, must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. 
- Minimum age of 18. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license.
- Basic computer skills and 2 years related work experience.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods of time.
- Preferred: post high school education, industrial experience, industry-related certifications, experience operating industrial equipment.
- Criminal background check required.
