Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine studies.
  • Order, prepare, calibrate, storage, and administer radiopharmaceuticals
  • Operate various radiation detection devices.
  • Perform quality assurance
  • Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the Nuclear Medicine department
  • Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocols.
  • Enter proper patient charges upon completion of Nuclear exam
  • Perform quarterly inventories of radioactive sealed sources

What qualifications you will need:
  • REQUIRED: Graduate of accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Continuing education as required for licensure .
  • REQUIRED: Current licensure in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or CNMT (ARRT-N or CNMNT)
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through American Red Cross
