Job description
Responsible for maintaining and managing mainframe computer systems 
Monitor system performance, identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure the proper functioning of mainframe applications and databases.
Create, tune and monitor z/OS DB2 systems for performance
Extensive scheduling knowledge of Control-M (Distributed and Mainframe platform), Autosys, Zeke , CA-7 and Robot
Operational responsibility for access administration of DB2, CICS, AS400 and Dataset access
Candidate must be highly proficient with all aspects of the z/OS operating system administration and support of SMPE, TSO, VSAM file management and JCL
Capable of dissecting complex technical scheduling situations and refocusing on the most business critical tasks
Respond to rectify/escalate alerts as per guidelines
Monitoring the queues (Service Now, events )
Requiring knowledge of both mainframe, Georgraphically Dispersed Disaster Restart (GDDR) and open systems storage infrastructure
Execute health checks across the Mainframe and Midrange environments to ensure compliance with Audit and regulatory requirements
Analysis of current Mainframe and Midrange environments to develop proposals for improvements and efficiency gains in alignment with client requirements
Enhancing existing utilities to better serve our clients, focusing on data cleansing, life-cycling of rules, and reporting utilities
