Our client, the nation's largest envelope manufacturer;  is seeking multiple 2nd shift machine operators to join their team. As a machine operator, you will be part of the production team supporting manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be a team player, looking for a career, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd shift Machine Operator

Location: Mt. Pleasant, Pa

Pay Range: $16.45/hr

 

What’s the Job?

  • * Loads envelope blanks in non-web machines and keeps gum and ink flowing.
    * Inspects quality of envelopes; includes watching for roll outs, folding problems, gum leaks, printing problems, splits onside, and errors in window dimensions.
    * Pulls envelope sample, packs envelopes and assembles shipping cartons.
    * Handles basic machine jams. Notifies adjuster of any machine problems.
    * Maintains quality and quantity production standards.

 

What’s Needed?

  • * Minimum educational requirement is a High School Diploma or equivalent. 
    * Minimum of six months previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
    * This is an entry-level position and No prior experience is needed.
    * Basic written and verbal communications skills.
    * Ability to work at a rapid pace 
    * Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler.
