Inside Sales Representative

We are looking for talented and competitive Inside Sales Representatives who thrives in a quick-paced and high-energy work environment. The Inside Sales Representative will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives through hunter and farmer sales activities. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
Basic Function:
Actively seeks to increase sales volume servicing existing accounts; growing sales at existing accounts and identifying new accounts in a highly competitive environment servicing the industrial and commercial industries' rigid packaging needs.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively manages inside sales customer base
- Understands customer's business and creates plans, pricing and strategies to fill the marketplace
- Consults and adds value as a resource to the customer, being proactive as a valued partner
- Has understanding of competitor's products, processes and capabilities
- Fields new business inquiries, determines the opportunities and handles accordingly
- Team player who can help the sales organization achieve overall results
Requirements:
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies
- 2+ years' experience in sales or related background
- A working understanding and ability to use consultative-selling skills
- A working understanding of financial and business plans
- Strong verbal, written and active listening communication skills
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers based on their needs
- Strategic thought processes and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop strong negotiating skills
- Thorough follow-up and record-keeping skills
- Associates or Bachelors' Degree preferred but not required
