Position Title: Model Maker
 
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Hours: 5:30 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday

Model Maker Responsibilities :
- Modifying ice machines to convert to alternate refrigerants and designs in support of upcoming projects
- Supporting prototype builds on the NPD Line
- Assisting Manufacturing Engineer’s with work instructions
- Creating test and build fixtures and any other day to day Model Maker activities that arise

Requirements For Model Maker :
- Brazing/Welding experience preferred
- Ability to use hand tools, experience with machine tools a plus
- Ability to read engineering prints/schematics
- Sheetmetal Fabrication and/or Carpentry skills
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Refrigeration system knowledge and EPA Refrigerant handling certification would be an advantage
- Ability to stand & walk on concrete 100% of the day, ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, lift and carry 35lbs, and work in hot/cold environments for reasonable periods of time
- Safely use lifting/hoisting equipment
