Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the licensed nurse, performs essential tasks based on the care plan assigned to a client. The In-Home Aide must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide heavy lifting, reaching, pulling, squatting, and stooping. The Aide demonstrates ability to carry 50 pounds up 10 stairs. The client care may be in a private home.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Required Education: None

  •  Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED
  •  Required License: Certified Nursing Assistant (if applicable)
  • Preferred License: Certificate Certified Personal Care Aide
  • Other Requirements: Driver’s License, Level III Auto Insurance coverage and must be 21 years or older to comply with auto liability insurance requirements.
  • Required Experience: None
  • Preferred Experience: Prior home care experience
