What You’ll Do:

  • Manage non-product specific marketing strategies to promote growth within our organization. This could include email campaigns for past clients, email messaging for clients within the loan process, ongoing campaigns to our business partners, or our digital advertising initiatives which will include the strategy for our Wintrust Mortgage website and landing pages, paid media campaigns, and social media, as well as print media relationships nationwide. You will conduct any market research as needed and interpret and analyze our data to report out any findings and recommendations. Work with other department SMEs to gather information needed to make smart decisions around our advertising strategy, create the project briefs and manage the projects to completion while working closely with our Creative Director.

  • Develop the strategy for new product or service launches within our company from new loan products to loan service enhancements (digital closing, servicing changes, etc.). Attend company product meetings on a monthly and weekly basis to ensure knowledge of the new releases so that marketing content for all audience types can be created properly. Create briefs to direct the creative team to ensure timely and accurate execution. Monitor and track content usage and Loan Originator feedback to make adjustments to content as necessary.

  • Work closely with our own marketing team to provide updates on projects and upcoming product releases, provide direction on other projects being owned by our Marketing Account Managers, conduct training sessions on new strategic marketing initiatives to ensure they are being communicated to the sales field properly and provide ongoing share-outs of the success of any initiatives with our team as well as on our Monthly Business Review for executives.

  • Manage all of the projects you own in our current systems; Trello and Workfront (subject to change), to ensure timely completion. Accountable for understanding the compliance impact of our marketing and ensuring consistency in what is created for a smooth approval process with our compliance team.

  • Collaborate closely with the holding company (Wintrust Financial) marketing team to assess our sponsorship opportunities with major sports teams, companywide events, and to obtain the proper website data analytics as needed to assess our systems. Collaborate with other teams within our organization to support internal communications, Town Hall, CRA/Fair Lending initiatives and others as assigned.

  • Review content in our marketing platform on an ongoing basis to ensure accuracy and evaluate any updates that may be needed. This includes stand-alone content as well as larger email journeys that will need to be reviewed and refreshed on an ongoing basis based on company initiatives, changes in the industry or if the content becomes ‘stale’. Working closely with our Operations Manager to work within our platform to assess system capabilities to support needed marketing strategies. ​
