Description

Our client, located in Nassau County, is looking for a Billing Specialist with customer service experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction with clients and address their concerns.
  • Maintain customer accounts and records to ensure accuracy and completeness in billing their accounts.
  • Process refunds, billing adjustments, and credits as needed.
  • Assist the Customer Service Department as needed with a high volume of calls.
  • Manage payments, increases or mark-ups of clients’ accounts
  • Assist as needed in the accounting department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Must be good with numbers and calculations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to work alternating weekends during business season
