Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Respiratory Therapy Student to join our team who will foster an environment of teamwork, quality and safety for our patients. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other, and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now

What you will do in this role:

· Under the general supervision of the Director of Cardiopulmonary, you will provide comprehensive respiratory care to include basic respiratory care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood gas, electrocardiograms.

· You will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the patient care team.

· You will have accountability for delivering quality respiratory services and for promoting a positive image of the department.

· You will abide by all rules, directives, policies, and procedures, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

What qualifications you will need:

· Currently enrolled and has completed at least 6 months in AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program concurrent with clinical phase of education.

· BLS with AHA or American Red Cross required

· 1 year of experience is a hospital setting is preferred.

· Current BLS Certification is required
