Summary:
Join the dynamic team at BEST Crowd Management as a Traffic Control professional. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure smooth and safe operations during events. We are seeking reliable individuals with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up traffic control equipment, including signage, cones, and barricades, as needed.
  • Direct and manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow around event venues.
  • Provide clear and concise instructions to drivers and pedestrians to ensure safety and minimize congestion.
  • Monitor traffic patterns and adjust control measures to accommodate changing conditions.
  • Assist in the safe entry and exit of event attendees and staff from parking areas.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to traffic-related incidents or emergencies, following established procedures.
  • Provide friendly and helpful customer service by assisting attendees with inquiries and directions.
  • Collaborate with event staff and security personnel to maintain safe and efficient traffic operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local traffic regulations and venue-specific guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support event success.

Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old (age requirements may vary depending on local regulations).
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (some college education is preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with attendees and staff.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods.
  • Must pass a background check.
