Our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) actively incorporate our “Philosophy for Person-Directed Care.”  You would develop an awareness of residents’ interests and needs and assist residents in maximizing their independence and participation by providing exemplary care to residents ranging from basic needs to activities of daily living, to recreational activities. You would help create a safe environment in which to provide resident care.

On-call

Shifts: Day Shift: 6:30 AM-2:30 PM and Night Shift 10:30 PM- 6:30 AM

Pay: $19-21/hr depending on experience 

Work Duties

  • Actively engages residents in participation in daily activities which are part of resident’s rhythm of daily life (including desired hygiene, grooming, and mobility);
  • Will take initiative in identifying the resident’s needs, wants, and preferences; and encourage autonomy of residents in decision-making;
  • Will contribute to creating a home environment in each community;
  • Performs dining and light housekeeping tasks as required;
  • Ability to comprehend and correctly use a variety of informational documents including (paper and electronic) flow sheets, memos, correspondence, and other reports and records;
  • Accurately reports unusual symptoms and problems of residents to supervisor;

 

To be successful in the role, you would have:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant certificate required 
  • Prior CNA or caregiving experience preferred
  • New grads are welcome
