The Project Manager - Change Management position would play an important role on the change management team working to maintain ZT Internal and customer Build of Materials (BOM) from end-to-end change control process (planning, review, implementation, and closure). This diverse role will allow you to get involved in multiple areas such as engineering, production, data analysis and SAP. This role will also work to improve on the processes within and adjacent to the change management team. Cross functional teams will need to be advised on how changes will impact them and will have to be kept aware while processes changes are being implemented.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain customer BOMs and information within the ZT internal PLM system (Agile) which drives subsequent functions including material ordering and production builds.
  • Reviewing ZT BOM and Maintain customer BOM after released in customer PLM system to ensure consistent material alignment.
  • Engage all manufacturing disciplines in the review and disposition of BOM changes (Running vs immediate, UTE, UTR)       
  • Thoroughly understand processes affecting the change management team and help to find opportunities for improvement based on cross functional team feedback
  • Drive implementation of process changes and coordinate with impacted cross functional teams to ensure success of new/updated process
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to ensure change compliance while minimizing operations impact
  • Collaborate with customer to close on open items in the PLM and issue tracking systems
  • Collect, analyze data and report to customer weekly/monthly
  • Understand internal and customer processes to drive prioritization
  • Be independent and creative in the role - explore and propose new ways of doing things
  • Think on your feet and react quickly to challenges
  • Be independent enough and understand the ZT tools to the point that task can be assigned without additional direction

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ minimum years of relevant experience or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in a project management role, multitasking and managing competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive changes to closure with team members that do not report to the same team as you.
  • Great communication skills to clearly describe changes to other teams and to management who would be impacted and get them aligned with changes being made or use feedback to update process change
  • Self starter who holds themselves accountable for quality and timeliness of their work
  • Should have desire to make improvements that impact not only themselves but also help drive the company forward towards its goal of continuous improvement
  • Significant experience in Excel to support customer analysis of data from the BOM to include Pivots, v lookups etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
