Job Summary and QualificationsThe Anesthesia Technician will be a licensed skilled and experienced person who is responsible under the direct supervision of the Operating Room Manager and Chief of Anesthesia for assisting in the OR suites, Labor & Delivery, Cath Lab, Radiology, Special Procedures or any department as directed by the Anesthesiologist.
- The Anesthesia tech sets up, moves, prepares and maintains all Anesthesia machines, equipment, supplies for the Anesthesiologist
- Provides technical support to Anesthesiologists by means of invasive and non-invasive monitoring assistance
- Assists in the orientation, training and education of new personnel
- Assists in the maintaining of safe and aseptic environment for all patients
- Performs all related duties as assigned and directed
What qualifications you will need:
- ASATT Certification
- BCLS Required
- ACLS & PALS preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
