As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated utility locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a visible presence. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the utility location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or potential hazards within the utility environment and report findings according to site protocols. Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the utility property. Document activities, observations, and incidents in detailed written reports as required by Allied Universal and site management. Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical situations. Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related incidents or emergencies that may arise during patrols.Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
