Our client, a leader in the facility management industry, is seeking a Mechanical Technician II to join their team. As a Mechanical Technician II, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational excellence of facility systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Technician II

Location: Tualatin, OR

Pay Range: Competitive salary based on experience

What's the Job?

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate facility services, including preventative maintenance and inventory control.
  • Conduct quality control checks on vendor services and maintenance work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues as they arise.

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, with two years of trades schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC.
  • Certification as a Universal Technician for CFC’s (or within 90 days of employment).
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to analyze system operations and take corrective action as needed.
