Position Summary

To setup and operate machining to perform required machining operations

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and operate cylinder body lathe and saw equipment.

• Perform daily tasks to produce parts, including but not limited to, loading/unloading equipment, gathering materials/components, and positioning work area.

• Utilize various hand tools, specialty tools, and basic measuring equipment to complete assigned tasks.

• Perform visual inspection of parts and reviews basic blueprints/diagrams to ensure components are being manufactured in accordance with the part specification.

• Complete various types of paperwork related to production reporting.

• Perform the required duties in accordance safety guidelines and lean principles.

• Clean equipment and work area.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D

• 3-5 years of previous machining experience preferred

• Basic computer skills required

• Basic math skills required

• Basic understanding of gauging / measuring devices required

• Basic blueprint understanding required

• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
