Position Title: Maintenance Electrician Wage: $47.81 per hour Shift: 3rd Hours: 11:15pm-7:15am (Sun-Thurs)  QPS Employment Group has a great Maintenance Electrician position available at a company in West Bend, WI. This is a 3rd shift, direct hire. Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Responsible for constructing, installing, diagnosing, repairing and performing preventative maintenance for all electrical and electronic equipment. - Examine machinery to identify sources of malfunctions or performance deficiencies, corrective course of action and implement repair plans. - Read and interpret wiring diagrams, program logic diagrams and other instructions. - Install, maintain and troubleshoot electric distribution equipment including transformers, circuit protection devices, switch gear, load center panels and busduct. - Install, maintain and troubleshoot electric control equipment including relay logic panels, programmable controllers, and solid-state control devices. - Use test equipment to troubleshoot electrical and control circuits and electrical components. - Maintain general lighting systems. Replace lamps as needed. - Assist in training fellow electricians and apprentices. - Keep work area and equipment neat, clean and orderly. - Adhere to safety practices and policies. - Perform other work as requested by Supervisor. Maintenance Electrician Requirements: - Accredited Journeymen’s credentials or equivalent training and industrial experience. - 5 years of experience as an electrician in a manufacturing environment. - Must be familiar with wiring conventions, electric and electronic symbols and National Electric Code. - Must have PLC experience and knowledge. - Demonstrates effective use of time. - Demonstrate competence in the following categories: Power Transmission; Machine Control; Building Maintenance. - Ability to work in a team environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Must be able to operate aerial lift. - Must be available during scheduled shutdowns and power outages. stevie.peterleus@qpsemployment.com IND999 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
