Job Title: Maintenance Tech with PLC
Location: Union City, CA
Pay Range: $39.00/hr
Schedule: 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM, Monday through FridayWhat’s the Job?
- Perform basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic repair and preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures on equipment such as mixers, dough sheeting lines, proofers, fryers, freezers, conveyors, and packaging equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and complete work orders using an SAP-based CMMS system.
- Execute emergency repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Perform welding, cutting, and soldering using electric and gas equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school graduate preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment, preferably in food manufacturing.
- Must have strong PLC experience and electrical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, electrical drawings, and mechanical blueprints.
- Proficiency in using power and hand tools, with experience in metal fabrication being a plus.
- Competitive pay at $39.00/hour.
- Opportunity for potential extension beyond the initial six months.
