WAREHOUSE WORKER

1st Shift

Pay $19.00 per hour

8am-5pm

Bunzl Safety Los Angeles, is seeking a Warehouse Worker. The Warehouse Worker will perform a variety of functions including accepting import container shipments and verifying that the correct amounts and types of items are received.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating a forklift
  • Unload trailers or containers
  • Observe all safety policies and procedures
  • Meet all productivity standards in a timely manner
  • Work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Assist other Warehouse Workers in completing tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager or immediate supervisor

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not required
  • Warehouse experience is preferred, but not required
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Lift heavy objects (up to 60 – 75 pounds) with or without accommodations for the entire shift
  • Must be able to occasionally work at a height of up to 26 feet above the ground (with provided safety equipment/processes/training)
  • Must be dependable and a team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Overtime will be required based on business needs
  • Must have basic math skills
