Position Title: Slitter Operator
 
Wage: $18.10/hour 

Shift: 2nd Shift
 
Hours: 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM

Slitter Operator Responsibilities:
- Conveys rolls to the slitter with the use of a forklift, after completion of the company forklift certification
- Positions rolls on machine carriage, using pallet jacks
- Pulls outer layer of material form roll to remove any contamination of splice film together
- Set machine to processing specification
- Depresses buttons to start machine
- Inspects and measures first panels discharged from machine to verify correct alignment of material on panel, using tape measure, check copy to proof and verify the information on the speck sheet
- Preform all quality checks and fill out all of the required paperwork with the proper signatures
- Start the machine and do visual inspection of rolls to ensure adherence to quality specifications
- Wrapping individual rolls in a protective film and assembling rolls into specified shipping units
- Executing inventory control/paperwork functions
- Maintain work area and equipment in neat and orderly manner
- Performs routine maintenance duties on equipment as needed

Requirements For Slitter Operator:
- Lift 50lbs from ground occasionally
- Lift 30lbs at waist height frequently
- Reach out, Squat down, Twist and Bend at waist
- Stand for 8-12 hours at a time
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Manufacturing experience
